They will use words like eugenics, cruelty, elitist and puppy mill. They’ll post pictures of horribly bred dogs and sad victims of substandard breeders. They'll post screen shots of Facebook conversations taken out of context, and they will do their best to anger us. And it will. This May 1, there will be people who can’t WAIT to tear us to pieces on Twitter and Facebook, and you know who they are. They’re PETA, and HSUS, and the hardline “adopt-don’t-shop” zealots who write blogs entitled, “The Top Ten Best Breeds for Children,” and number two is a rescue mutt. They will use our own hashtags to taunt and ridicule us, and they'll spread lies. What do we do about them? Absolutely NOTHING. Don't engage them. Don't acknowledge them. Don't respond to them.
